He worked as a weaver and was a regular attendant of remembrance of Allah sessions (Zikr). Apparent minor miracles were also related to him. When mullah Muhhieddin was thirteen years old his father mullah Muhammad Sa'eed died in 1252 A.H. So, he was raised by his Sufic faithful mother Aysha Bint (daughter) of Abi Bakr Al-Samman who was licensed with the Rifa'i way by her brother Abi Al-Suroor Ahmed; handed to him from his mullah Muhammad Dhobian (Dabab), from his mullah Sharaf AlDeen Al-Magzoob Ali Ibn AlRhman Shateel Al-Sabsabi, from his father, from his cousin Ahmed Al-Sabsabi, from his uncle Sayyid Dawrish Ibn Mustafa in relation to the holy Sayyid Ahmed Asl-Rifai' (May Allah be pleased with him). So, the mullah (May Allah be pleased with him) was raised in the said house qualified by his mother to revive the remembrance of Allah sessions (Zikr) after his father and his brother Muhammad Al-Magzoob. His mother oriented him to undertake theology as his career at the hands of the scholars of religion and good manners.

He forwarded guidance in accordance with Qur'an and Sunna, following the glorious way of his ancestors. His Traits (May Allah be pleased with him)

He was a diligent and a hardworking man, worshipper, honest, steady, respectful, modest, humble, and of strict religion.

He was as strong as a mountain and nothing could defeat him. He persisted on worshipping and teaching, and seldom went shopping.

His followers came to him seeking his invocations and blessings. He was so concrete in worshipping and teaching, sleeping very little at night, spending most of the nights asking Allah for forgiveness. He taught at the Tourrntaeah School every day after sunrise. Being highly polite, he received his Hilaliah mullahs barefoot outside his dwelling. He was so respectful towards the poor asking forgiveness and interceding for them. The governors and mayors accepted his requests with respect and appreciation. As for his physiognomy, he (May Allah be pleased with him) had grey hair, ivory skin color, round face, fat and nearly short, and of keen sight. Although he was very old, he frequently saw the crescent of Ramadan and Shawwal at the first night and he showed it to his followers. Then, he came to the Sharia court accompanied by some of those who saw the crescent to testify of seeing it.

From his Sayings (May Allah be pleased with him)

One of his sayings is "O my sons don't be a "Hussariah" i.e a mat". When he was asked about the meaning of the word, he said: "I meant those who attended the religious sessions, but they left what they had heard on their mats, returning without gaining any benefit". He frequently told his brethren: "we eat, drink, and sleep day and night and we want to be heroes, but these deeds are nothing". What is very amazing about this mullah is that while he was traveling to visit mullah Abdulkader Al-Jilani (May Allah be pleased with him) accompanied by some of his followers, he told them to go back to Aleppo as he dreamed the mullah Abdulkader Al-Jilani (May Allah be pleased with him) touching his neck by his foot and ordering him to hold remembrance of Allah sessions (Zikr) every Friday afternoon. Then, he wrote poetry about his event. He ordered his followers and brethren to be polite especially when they entered the school and the sessions because he dreamed of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sitting in the school. He wrote poetry about that event, too.

Praising him by the Renowned Figures (May Allah be pleased with him)

His mullah in Aleppo, the holy scholar Ahmed Al-Turmanini (May Allah be pleased with him), said about him: "If somebody wants to see a man of paradise, he has to look at mullah Muhhieddin Al-Badenjki". Mullah Sayied Ahmed son of Ali Al-Kayali Al-Rifa'i heard of that so he went to mullah Muhhieddin and stayed with him and wedded him his daughter Ruqaya. He was described, on the official occasion of taking charge of the Tourrntaeah School in Sha'aban 10, 1271 A.H, as: (The best of honorable men, the leader of the respectable mullahs, honest and straight, and capable of taking responsibilities). He (May Allah be pleased with him) wrote letters to Sultan Abdul Hamid addressing him (To our son Abdul Hamid …). The mullah's messenger was received by the Sultan Abdul Hamid with all respect and generosity. The Sultan kissed the mullah's letters and raised them to his head. The historian mullah Muhammad Ragheb Al-Tabakh described him in his book "E'laam Al-Nobala Btareekh Halab" as the religious guiding mullah whose heart was full of light, faith and sincerity.

His Minor Miracles (May Allah be pleased with him)

Being strong believer in Allah and strict follower of the Holy Qur'an and Sunna of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he (May Allah be pleased with him) he was bestowed with minor miracles as the historian Muhammad Ragheb Al-Tabakh said in his book "E'laam Al-Nobala Btareekh Halab": "People witnessed the blessings of his reading the Holy Qur'an. He healed many people by the will of Almighty Allah due to his honesty, piety, and the people's great belief in him". Moreover, here are some of his minor miracles (May Allah be pleased with him): the water of the well in his dwelling was a little salty, when people were in bad need for fresh water, he ordered them to bring a vessel of water from that well. When it was brought to him, he read some verses of the Holy Qur'an on the water. Then, he ordered to pour the water in the well, doing so the water of the well became very fresh. He asked some of his brethren to give this water to people for drinking. One night the water-man went to fill a bucket from that water; he found the rope of the bucket cut. So, he went to the mullah to tell him. The mullah ordered him: "go and fill that bucket". When he went to do so, he found the water flowing at the top of the well. Also, among his minor miracles: he could (May Allah be pleased with him) pray at the mosque of mullah Abdul Kader Al-Jilani (May Allah be pleased with him) in Baghdad and lit the lamp of the mullah's mosque every Friday night, while at the same time he was present among his family and brethren in Aleppo. In addition to his previous minor miracles, when mullah Abdullah Eskeif entered Muhhieddin's dwelling, he saw the mullah so tall to the extent that his head almost reached the ceiling. Again, another minor miracle of his (May Allah be pleased with him) he sent a messenger with a letter to a man of a noble class. He told his messenger not to read the content of the letter. When the messenger came back to the mullah, the mullah said to him "you betrayed us in going and in coming back". Indeed, the messenger had read the letter and the reply. Once the mullah told his grandson Sayyid Mahmoud son of mullah Muhammad that he could not precede him to the prayers of the midnight and early morning. Actually, the grandson had already intended secretly to do that.
